About Me

I am a professional graphic designer, illustrator, sculptor and self proclaimed poet- a human being, being human. Although I value digital tools to create art, I most enjoy working with my hands.

My favorite medium is wood. All of my creations are made of found material that I fondly refer to as orphans: each one is invited back into the world as it reveals its own unique story. I immerse myself into every piece, first with praise, then with silence. I always ask permission before carving and then enter into dialogue, using my best manners to listen. Wood always speaks if one is willing to sit still long enough.

Each of my sculptures carries its own medicine. I feel that through art and the pursuit of beauty, hand in hand with fierce kindness and compassion, we can invite a better world, a world where wonder and astonishment are the only things worth pursuing.

My work is the result of unwavering devotion to the imagination, to the dreamtime, to my endless search for beauty and connection. I remain committed to falling in love with the world everyday.

May beauty and kindness prevail with gratitude before all things. Blessings to all.
